Amaros, the failed experiment

History
Amaros was created by Adasca Corp, a bio-mechanical corporation famous fur using its bioengineering and medical research advances. The corporation had a goal to create a new warrior species, however the methods they planned to use were illegal in Republic Space, and so they chose to develop their new species in wild space, where the Republic had no jurisdiction, and so the process began without any form of oversight.
Adasca Corp used DNA samples from a Trandoshan, believing that, if enhanced it would form the perfect soldier. Several scientists spent years on altering the creatures DNA, following the process closely. However when the creature was finally fully developed and released, the results were highly disappointing to Adasca Corp. The creature turned out irrational and incapable of following commands, the minute it was released it started attacking the scientists that created him in confusion. The creature was captured and put in a chemically induced coma. The scientists altered the brain of the creatures by placing mechanical circuit plates in it, the same sort that is commonly used with droids. However when they tested the creature again, it seemed like its brain and the circuit board conflicted, the creature seemed to be killing itself.
Adasca Corp deemed the creature a failed experiment and dumped him on the toxic wastelands of Caamas, expecting it to die due to the planet’s unlivable climate. The creature however survived, due to its sustainable body, and developed its mind due to the software that was programmed in his brain, it was starting to program itself. After years of stalking the climate of Caamas, the beast, who called himself Amaros by then hijacked a ship from scavengers, who were looking to plunder the ancient riches of Caamas.
Amaros traveled to Nar Shaddaa, where he was captured and imprisoned by the Hutt cartel. Not knowing the creature’s nature, the huts plan to use it as a form of entertainment, in battles to the death.

Personality
Amaros mostly follows its instincts, led by mostly hunger and the need for comfort, Amaros doesn’t show much empathy for other life forms. Amaros doesn’t remember much of when he was created and doesn’t have hate against his creators, or anyone else in particular. Amaros programmed himself when he was on Caamas, and programmed himself to look after himself, thus he always seeks to benefit himself in business situations. Because of this programming Amaros is only loyal to himself, as he doesn’t care much as others. Amaros doesn’t mind going low to reach his goals, the end justifies the means in his mind, going for both acts of evil and acts of low status. Amaros however lost his aggressive nature after he was well fed for a long time on Nar Shaddaa, and turned out to be nice in nature, however his programming is clashing with this personality, often giving him issues in stressful situations.

Abilities
Amaros first used a blaster when he stole it from scavengers on Caamas, being the first actual weapon he ever used he likes it a lot, though he still has to learn how to properly wield it. Amaros is excellent at using his body in order to kill, often having a natural advantage over others. Amaros has grown into a good business man during his short time on Nar Shaddaa, he learned galactic basic quickly due to his cybernetic enhancements and has naturally quick senses which he utilizes during business. Amaros is however easily fooled, and susceptible to being lead, which led to him being an easy target for the Hutts.
